Original painting by Vincent de Haan
Size: 85 x 105 x 2 cm / 33,5″ x 41,3″ x 0,8″
Materials: acrylic, oil and oil pastel on cotton canvas
Part of the ‘Reconstruction of the Self’ series, this body of work can be seen as a personal visual interpretation how our digital world is becoming increasingly interwoven with our real world, leading to the fragmentation and eventually reconstruction of the very fabric of our social societal structures. With his body of work, Vincent hopes to inspire individuals to think about how we want to change as a society and what role technology should play in that change. Are we headed into oblivion or utopia?
